Some of the Electrical components found on a Daihatsu Hijet mini truck are the Ignition Coil, The older Daihatsu Hijet mini trucks with a carburetor had a singlke ignition coil. The newer Daihatsu Hijet mini trucks that are fuel injected have individual ignition coils. The internal of the distributor may contain points and condensor or an electronic ignition module. The fuel pump has a relay to handle the on and off current of the fuel pump. The ignition switch has the function of connecting the battery power to the ignition coil and the vehicle accessories. The electrical switch or combination switch has the function of powering the turn signals and head lights.
